New Rule: Mini Barns Now Allowed in Section 3 Orchard Estates (ARC Approval Required)

Hello Neighbors,

We’re pleased to share that a new rule has been passed allowing mini barns to be installed in Section Three of Orchard Estates. The rule has been recorded with Hendricks County and is now officially in effect.

Before you order, build, or have a mini barn delivered, please keep the following in mind:

  • ARC (Architectural Review Committee) approval comes first. All mini barns must be submitted to the Architectural Review Committee and approved before installation begins. Please do not order or install a barn until you’ve received written approval.
  • Permits may be required. Please check with Hendricks County before installing, as permit requirements can vary based on the size and placement of the structure.
  • Review the full requirements. The attached document covers the details, including size limits, placement/setback requirements, materials, and colors . Please read it before submitting your request.

To submit a request, fill out this form.

Thank you
