This is a reminder that the neighborhood pond is not for recreational use, including walking, skating, or any activity on the ice. No one is to be out on the ice.

There are posted signs stating this clearly. Unfortunately, someone fell through the ice today, which is extremely dangerous and could have resulted in serious injury or worse.

Please respect the posted signage and keep everyone safe by staying off the pond at all times.

Be on the lookout for a notice being delivered today in your newspaper box.

We’ve received complaints from the owner of the two vacant lots on Macintosh Lane.  This is impeding him from properly maintaining the lots, so there is to be no dumping of any kind on the vacant lots.

If you spot someone dumping on those lots, please either let us know, or call the Danville Police.

We’re having some maintenance work done to our dam, consisting mostly of tree and brush removal.  You may see some activity in the area, but it should be non-impactful to the neighborhood otherwise.  This will be done in segments over the next few weeks as weather permits. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
